Ptl. Kevin Perry joined the Union City Police
Department in October of 2002 as a reserve
officer. Ptl. Perry was hired full-time in
February 2007. Before joining the
department full time Ptl. Perry was full time
with the Liberty, IN Police Department where
he graduated the Indiana Law Enforcement
Academy in 2004. Ptl. Perry went on to
become a generalists instructor and an
Emergency Vehicle Operations(EVO)
Instructor for Union City Police Department.
Ptl. Perry is also a certified FTO. In 2009 Ptl.
Perry attended Gills K9 Academy with PSD
Dino, where they were trained and certified in
narcotic detection, tracking, building, area,
and article searches.
